Marco Zanini created this vase for Bitossi Ceramiche in 2004. It was reissued in 2016 in a limited series of 299 pieces. Forged by hand on the potter's wheel, it shows the long collaboration between the designer and the Tuscan manufacture, with projects ranging from tableware to lighting and home accessories.

An architect and co-founder of the Memphis group, Zanini was design manager at Sottsass Associati. His work includes colourful, vibrant furniture, glassware, jewellery and ceramics. Bitossi Ceramiche makes the vase in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the company was founded in 1921. On a sideboard or a console, it brings the colourful spirit of Memphis into the home.
