Nathalie Du Pasquier is an artist and designer who was part of the Memphis Group, founded by Ettore Sottsass, in the early 1980s. Her surface designs have adorned fabrics, carpets, furniture and laminates. Since 1987 she has been primarily dedicated to painting. Her works have been exhibited in galleries and institutions all over the world.
Bitossi Ceramiche has produced several of her ceramics, from Carrot by Memphis to the Totems of 2018 for the Apalazzo Gallery. This vase belongs to a set of three bottle-shaped vases, all made with the potter’s wheel and coated with contrasting glazes. They are crafted in Montelupo Fiorentino, where Bitossi was founded in 1921. The tallest of the three, it gives a strong vertical accent to a sideboard.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche NATHALIE DU PASQUIER vase is a slender bottle made of vertical, stackable elements. A red cup and a burgundy knot crown a white ring and a tall black body. Each element is wheel-thrown and takes its own matte colour, like a painting in three dimensions. The design dates from 2004 and was reissued in 2018 in a limited edition of 299 pieces. It is a collectible designer vase for a shelf, a console or a bookcase.
