Onda was presented by Bitossi Ceramiche in 2024. With this collection, Muller Van Severen investigates form as an open system, made of slim volumes and clean cuts. Each piece is slip cast in white clay and finished with glossy glazes.
Muller Van Severen is the studio founded in 2011 by the Belgian designers Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. It is considered one of today's most influential design studios. Bitossi Ceramiche produces the collection in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the company was founded in 1921. Several Onda vases in different colours create a bold, graphic line on a shelf or a sideboard.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche ONDA vase by Muller Van Severen treats form as an open system. A tall round-topped arch opens in the base, like a small doorway in a wall. The slim rectangular body is slip cast in white clay. Onda plays with open and closed forms, in a constant dialogue between solid and void. The version shown is finished in a glossy aubergine glaze. It is a designer vase that reads like a small sculpture on a shelf or a console. Grouped in different colours, the vases form a graphic, rhythmic composition.
