In 2026 the Onda collection grew with three new pieces that continue the research begun in 2024. The new series revisits the original forms through a simple gesture: inversion, which reverses the relationship between base and opening. What once supported, now receives. The volume stays recognisable, while its orientation, visual weight and relationship with space change.

Muller Van Severen is the studio founded in 2011 by the Belgian designers Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. The three vases are slip cast in white clay and glazed in Vermilion Red, Dark Blue and Pastel Grey. Bitossi Ceramiche makes them in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the company was founded in 1921. They look striking next to the original Onda vases, upside down in dialogue.

ONDA Vase

Available in 3/4 weeks
100% Made in Italy

The Bitossi Ceramiche ONDA vase by Muller Van Severen treats form as an open system. Two curved cuts meet in a point at the rim and draw a soft double arch around the opening. The slim rectangular body is slip cast in white clay. Onda plays with open and closed forms, in a constant dialogue between solid and void. It belongs to the 2026 series, in which base and opening are reversed. The version shown is finished in a glossy dark blue glaze. It is a designer vase that reads like a small sculpture on a shelf or a console. Grouped in different colours, the vases form a graphic, rhythmic composition.
