The name Rimini Blu pays homage to the Romagna Riviera, a major destination for international tourism. The ceramics of the collection are known for graphic motifs stamped into the surface texture. It is a fantastical round dance of geometric elements, made luminous by the crystalline layer.

Aldo Londi, painter, sculptor and ceramist, led Bitossi as art director from the 1950s. His research into materials, techniques and colours made this series an icon of Italian design. Bitossi Ceramiche still produces it in Montelupo Fiorentino, where it was founded in 1921. The vase looks beautiful with a few garden flowers on a kitchen or dining table.
