The Wiggle collection by Max Lamb stems from an exploration of materiality. Presented in 2017, it consists of six round and square forms that recall architectural elements. They are slab-built or wheel-thrown in white clay. The surface is then carved by hand with a spiral metal wire, which creates a wavy, moving texture.
