Torsi celebrates the classical heritage of art history through a contemporary vision. It is inspired by the terracotta production of ancient Greece and Italy. In classical architecture, the torso is the part of the column between base and capital, a symbol of strength and beauty. Presented in 2024, the collection includes three cylindrical vases and two wall-mounted semi-cylindrical vases, fluted and varying in height.

Objects of Common Interest was founded by Eleni Petaloti and Leonidas Trampoukis and explores the relationship between art, design and architecture. With offices in Athens and New York, the studio was named Designer of the Year at the 2024 Elle Deco International Design Awards. Bitossi Ceramiche makes the collection in Montelupo Fiorentino, where it was founded in 1921. Hung side by side or aligned, the wall vases create free, creative compositions.

Available in 3/4 weeks
100% Made in Italy

The Bitossi Ceramiche TORSI wall vase by Objects of Common Interest turns a classical column into a contemporary object. This semi-cylinder has a flat back, so it can hang on a wall or stand against it. The fluting recalls the columns of ancient Greek and Italian architecture. It is slip-cast in white clay and finished in glossy red. It can stand alone or join the other Torsi pieces in free, creative compositions. Also available in glossy yellow.
