The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.
Londi was a painter, a sculptor and above all a ceramist, and his painted decorations reveal a steady, rhythmic hand. Bitossi Ceramiche still makes his designs in the Tuscan town where the company was founded in 1921. The bowl brightens a coffee table, a kitchen island or a console. It pairs naturally with the Rimini Blu pieces and other blue ceramics.

100% Made in Italy
This Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO bowl reissues a 1960 design by Aldo Londi. Its deep, rounded shape rests on a small foot, with a speckled blue-grey exterior. Inside, a painted decoration of sequential triangles runs in rings towards the centre. Sky blue, azure and white alternate like pieces of a mosaic. The matte finish gives the colours a soft, chalky depth. It is a designer bowl with a fresh, Mediterranean mood, made in a limited edition of 199 pieces.
