The Historical Archive Reissues faithfully reproduce ceramics that Aldo Londi created between the 1950s and the 1970s. The originals are kept today in the Bitossi Archive in Montelupo Fiorentino. Each reissue carries the inventory number of the original piece on its base, together with the historic brand name Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.
Tagliata means cut in Italian, and the series plays with bold incisions that interrupt pure geometric shapes. Here the matte manganese brown meets a bright glossy yellow. The bowl can hold small objects on a desk or simply stand as a sculpture on a coffee table. It pairs naturally with the vases and the box of the same Tagliata series.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche ARCHIVIO STORICO bowl belongs to the Tagliata series, designed by Aldo Londi in 1971. The low, round form is literally cut: two raised sections frame a flat central band. Inside, a glossy yellow glaze shines like a small sun. Outside, a rough manganese brown surface gives the piece a solid, earthy character. Made in a limited edition of 99 pieces, it is a designer bowl with a sculptural soul for a coffee table or a desk.
