Presented in 2019, Revolver is a sequence of spiral shapes that evolve into different sizes: three vases, a bowl and a cup. Warm colours such as yellow and orange are interrupted by thin brown bands that underline every line. The pieces are slip cast in white clay, and sand mixed into the engobe gives the surface its textured relief.
Born in Switzerland, Christoph Radl moved to Milan in 1977, where he met Ettore Sottsass and worked on the graphics of the Memphis Group. In 1993 he founded RADL, a studio for art direction and graphic design, and since 2014 he has been creative director of Cabana magazine. Raised on its foot, this piece brings height and colour to a sideboard, a buffet or a dining table.

100% Made in Italy
The Bitossi Ceramiche REVOLVER footed bowl by Christoph Radl looks like a spinning top turned upside down. A deep, ribbed cup rests on a narrow stem and a stepped round foot. Every ring follows the spiral theme that defines the whole collection. The version shown is glazed in glossy bright yellow, with thin matte brown bands. Sand in the engobe gives it a textured, tactile surface that invites the touch. Also available in burnt orange.
